Love the piece. Think you’re spot on when identifying the true role of a VC. While important, without the founders and breakthrough ideas first, venture capital would have little (if nothing) to invest in.

Regarding #6, having worked in pre-seed venture myself, I would even argue that the “Market” and “Team” factors are interchangeable at times when assessing different businesses across different industry verticals. This may be more so true for pre-seed ventures as opposed to seed stage, but would love to hear your thoughts!
