Armory Square Ventures (“ASV”) is an early-stage venture fund based in New York. We focus on backing B2B technology founders in underserved markets at the Seed and Series A stage. As a lead investor, we pride ourselves on assisting our portfolio companies in sourcing and acquiring talent, customers, and investors. We are actively deploying out of Fund II and have made a dozen investments to-date across all funds, including ACV Auctions, BentoBox, Jorsek, and RealEats, among others. About the Role

The ASV Venture Fellowship is a paid internship program for current students or recent graduates interested in pursuing careers in venture capital. The program could lead to a full-time opportunity based upon mutual fit. As a Fellow, you will receive direct exposure to the business of venture capital and guidance on how to navigate the role of a junior investment team member. In addition, you will get experience in:

• Sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, especially in our regions of focus (NY State, Northeast, Midwest, etc.)
• Supporting deal processes, including diligence and memos
• Developing thought leadership through industry deep dives and other special projects
• Managing the day-to-day operations of a VC Fund (e.g., platform/marketing, events and logistics, database management, etc.)

Fellows will work closely with our Senior Analyst, Jackson Feder. You will also gain exposure to all other members of our Investment Team.

About You

We are looking for candidates passionate about the convergence of startups, technology, and finance. Ideal candidates have a natural curiosity and self-starter mentality, equipped to work remotely. You should feel confident diving into a problem head first, but comfortable asking questions. Strong analytical abilities and written communication skills are a must. Prior experience at a startup or in an investing role are a plus.
